On ERT2 Channel, on Saturday 6 March 2021 at 21:00 was broadcast the episode ?Groups of Oral History? of the programme entitled ?KLEINON ASTY ? Stories of a city?.
In this specific episode that highlighted the valuable contribution of personal testimonies in the maintenance of historic memory, there was a mention in the participation of Evangeliki Model High School of Smyrna with the creation of a short history documentary.
More specifically, through the C? Class student Vicky Zioga?s participation was presented our school activity, which was realized during the school year 2019-2020 on the topic of local oral history, for the participation of the school in the contest of the Cultural Centre of Nea Smyrni entitled ?Asia Minor, Ave!?
The documentary was realized under the supervision of the school teachers Mr. Georgios Thodis, Greek Language and Literature teacher, and Mrs. Eirini Arnaouti, English Teacher, and won the 1st prize in the aforementioned contest.
