Τελικές παρουσιάσεις
Presentation of the team Orion from Evangeliki School of Smyrna Greece, representing Greece, in the European CanSat competition, Bologna 27/6/2019.
A high quality work implementing :
a) active stabilization of CanSat using PID control loop and interactively controlled moving fins
b) triangular localization involving experimental data of RSSI and solving coordinate equations referring to three ground stations
c) inertial localization involving rotation of the recorded acceleration vector from the frame of reference of the CanSat to an inertial frame of reference
d) Software developed by the students. The software implemented edge detection , using IR photos of the ground, in combination with a “traveling salesman” algorithm that can guide a rover to avoid the ground edges-obstacles as it moves on the photographed area of the planet.
All this work done exclusively from 17 – 18 year old students WITHOUT ANY MAJOR HELP FROM ADULTS!!!
Congratulations Team! Though your work has not been estimated, as it should be, you are much wiser now both at the scientific matters and also at some social aspects of life!
