On Wednesday 26 June, a wonderful graduation ceremony was held in Evangeliki School of Smyrna in honour of our High School graduates.
In the ceremony made a speech: the Principal of Evangeliki High School of Smyrna Ms. Antigoni Laskaridou, the Director of D’ Athens Directorate of Education Mr. Leonidas Mantzos, the President of the Academic Supervisory Council of our High School and Provost of the Sciences Department of the NKUA Mr. Ioannis Emmanouil, the Principal of Evangeliki Model Secondary School of Smyrna Mrs. Antonia Kafetzaki, father Iosif as a representative of the Bishop of Nea Smyrni Mr. Symeon, the President of the Parents’ and Custodians’ Association Mr. Dimitrios Mountzourakis and the President of the Alumni Association of Evangeliki School Mr. Anastasios Tsatsos.
Furthermore, the Dictinction Award “Professor Makis Tsapogas” was attributed to Elpida Besi, who got the highest mark among the graduates of her class in the Panhellenic Exams 2023 and entered in the 1st place the Department of Chemistry of the University of Athens.
The honoured guest of the ceremony was Mr. Daniil, lawyer, Mayor of Oinousses and alumnus of Evangeliki School of Smyrna, who made a speech.
The Evangeliki Model High School of Smyrna teachers who complete their educational work, Mrss. Maria Diakonou, Maria Litsardou and Ioanna Pseftogianni were also honoured by the students.
Last but not least, they were honoured for their long-lasting work in our School three important personalities of Evangeliki School family, he ex-Principal of the High School and current Councilor of Natural Sciences in C’ Athens Mr. Christos Fanidis, the ex-Vice Principal of the High School and current Principal in the Model High School of Agioi Anargyroi Mr. Sotirios Chasapis and the ex-teacher of Greek Language and Literature of the High School Mr. Ioannis Panagiotis Ampelas, who has also been Principal in the High School of Vamos in Chania, Crete, Coordinator of Educational Work for the Greek Language and Literature teachers in Crete, and Director of the Secondary Education of Chania, Crete.
The President of the Academic Supervisory Council, the Principal and the Vice-Principal of Evangeliki Model High School of Smyrna gave the HONOURING DIPLOMAS to the graduates with wishes for health, success and a good career.
