On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, a presentation of the sport of table tennis was held at our school gymnasium. The presentation was attended by the four sections of the first-grade (A’) Lyceum, totaling one hundred students.
The sport was presented by the technical advisor of the Hellenic Table Tennis Federation (ETTA), Chrysoula Toursounidou. Reference was made to the history of the sport in the Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as to its rules and regulations.
During the demonstration, which took place with the assistance of our champion and Balkan titleholder, Giorgos Konstantinopoulos, great interest and enthusiasm were generated among our students. Subsequently, students, as well as our School Principal, Mrs. Antigoni Laskaridou, had the opportunity to engage with the sport and enjoy this unique athletic activity.
