On Thursday, January 22, 2026, the awards ceremony for outstanding Lyceum students of the Attica and Central Greece Regions who excelled in the 2025 Panhellenic Examinations took place at the Athens Concert Hall.

The distinguished students were honored by the Eurobank Group through its Corporate Social Responsibility program “Forward for Education.” The ceremony was held in the presence of the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, Mrs. Sofia Zacharaki, the CEO of Eurobank, Mr. Fokion Karavias, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eurobank, Mr. Georgios Zanias, university rectors, the Regional Director of Primary and Secondary Education of Attica, Mr. Leonidas Mantzos, and the Director of Secondary Education of the 4th Directorate of Athens, Mr. Fotis Andreou.

From our School, our graduate Ioannis Karantzikis was honored, having gained admission to the Department of Civil Engineering in Athens at the National Technological University of Athens. With a graduation grade of 19.60 and a total score of 77.50/80 in the four examined subjects, Mr. Karantzikis also ranked first in the 4th Educational Directorate of Attica.

The “Forward for Education” program, as a token of recognition and gratitude to the teachers and schools that cultivate excellence, also honors the Lyceums from which the top-ranking students of each region graduate. This is the third time our School has received this distinction. The commemorative plaque was received by the Principal of our Lyceum, Mrs. Antigoni Laskaridou.
