On Sunday, 9 November 2025, students of Evangeliki Model High School of Smyrna, accompanied by the teachers responsible for the activity, took part as volunteers in the Athens Authentic Marathon.
With their excellent presence, warm smiles, and positive attitude, our students offered refreshment services to the athletes after they crossed the finish line, contributing significantly to the smooth operation and overall success of this major athletic event.
Their participation proved to be a unique experience and an important opportunity for experiential learning, through which the values of volunteerism, cooperation, and social contribution were cultivated. Through such initiatives, our students are guided and encouraged to grow into active and responsible citizens of our society.
