Our newspaper Evangelioforos was awarded 2nd Prize by the Rector of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Mr. Charalampos Feidas. The prize, received by the supervising teacher of the issue, Ms. Aikaterini Tsachtsarli, along with students Niki Kouka and Sofia Leka, includes scholarships for all members of the editorial team to participate in the popular e-learning programs of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA), AUTH, Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), and Panteion University. Greetings were delivered by the Minister of Education, Ms. Sofia Zacharaki, as well as by prominent figures from the fields of journalism and intellectual life. The event was also attended by the Principal of Evangeliki Model High School of Smyrna, Ms. Antigoni Laskaridou.
We are proud of our students who collaborated with enthusiasm and dedication, and who passionately defended the value of freedom of the press. We congratulate them on their achievement and hope it marks the beginning of many future accomplishments.
