We are delighted and proud to announce that our school newspaper EVANGELIOFOROS, of Evangeliki Model High School of Smyrna, is among the three awarded entries of the 1st Panhellenic and Pancyprian School Newspaper Competition “The Students’ Tribune”, organized by the newspaper TO VIMA under the auspices of the Ministries of Education of Greece and Cyprus.
This distinction reflects the team effort, creative thinking, and responsible work of our editorial team, which gave voice to student perspectives through reports, articles, and interviews. Out of 133 school entries from every corner of Greece and Cyprus, our newspaper stood out and was selected as one of the three finalists to receive an official award.
The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, with the presence of the winning teams and guests. With enthusiasm and respect for the work of all participants, we look forward to the official announcement of our award.
We would like to wholeheartedly thank everyone who supported our effort in the public voting process. Your response moved us and supported us at every step.
We also warmly thank the Competition Jury for its trust and support. The recognition of our work by distinguished academics, university professors, and media professionals is a great honor and a valuable encouragement for the future.
This journey was not only an opportunity for recognition but also a rare experience of collaboration, learning, and creative expression. We wish all participating teams the best of luck and congratulate every student who brought their school publications to life.
