During the week 2-6/12/2024, the Computer Science teacher of our school, Mrs. Panagiota-Ismini Matthe, who participates in the implementation of this school year’s Erasmus+ KA121 project, realised job shadowing activities in the town of Setúbal in Portugal. She got informed about the Portuguese educational system and visited schools of both primary and secondary education, where she discussed with colleagues from Portugal and attended lessons of different subjects and classes, such as literature, English, philosophy and mathematics. As part of the in-service training, she also carried out visits of cultural interest in sights and museums in Setúbal and Lisbon.

The project, lasting three years (2024-2027), aims to improve three objectives:

  • Development of innovative teaching practices: Improving creativity in the educational process.
  • Enhancing democratic consciousness: Awareness of the value of democracy and participation in democratic processes.
  • Improving environmental awareness: Awareness of environmental problems and actions to deal with them.
