On Friday 29.11.2024 a group of twenty one (21) students from our school B’ Class, after the initiative of our school Greek Language and Literature teacher Petros Moschovitis, and accompanied by the teacher Mrs. Evangelia Karimali, within the framework of the teaching of “Expression-Writing” in B’ Class and of the school book units “Ι. News and Comments” and “ΙΙ. The organization and the presentation of the news”, visited ERT, in order to get to know the secrets of journalism and see from close the organization and presentation of news.
After being received in the entrance of the Radio Headquarters of ERT in Agia Paraskevi, in the reception hall, the person in charge of the educational tours Ms. Giouli Arampatzi talked to us about the history of Mass Media in general and specifically of the radio and television in Greece. Afterwards, our students, accompanied by their teachers, visited the news studio of ERT and attended a live news bulletin of the channel ΕΡΤNEWS at 11:00. Then, the journalists – presenters of news in ERT Ms. Alexandra Douvara and Ms. Marianna Petraki explained how a news bulletin goes on air and took our group on a tour in the director’s control.
Later on, in the newsroom of ERT news bulletin, Mr. Alexandros Lachanas, chief editor of ERT news bulletin, along with Ms. Marianna Petraki, journalist of ERT, explained to the students how a news bulletin is organized and how the news are prioritized in the way they are presented. In the end of the tour, the students visited the radio studio of Cosmos 93,6, where students became familir with the secrets of the radio.
