On Friday 29 November 2024 a group of A’ Class students visited the Church of Taxiarches in Moschato, so that the students could get to know in an experiential way the Church Architecture and Painting of an Orthodox Temple.
After the tour of the church by our school Religious Education teacher Mr. Sotirios Kollias, the priest in charge of the church, father Christodoulos Mpithas, talked to the students about the history of the Church of Taxiarches, the foundation of the Church institution and showed to them the mass vessels, explaining their use. Then, an interesting discussion followed with the priest, who answered all our students’ questions, putting in the centre of the discussion the love of Christ. After the end of the visit, the hospitable people of the church offered a treat to our students in the spiritual centre of the temple.
