The P.E. teacher of our school Georgios Sarlas is realising a collaboration of our school, within the framework of the P.E. subject, as follows:
- Collaboration with the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens for the mentoring of students in the Sport Pedagogy and Teaching of Physical Education. The mentoring was realised in two periods, September-October 2020 and May 2021, in most classes of our school after the relevant permission by the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs.
- Collaboration with the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science of the University of Thessaly for a research fieldwork, studying the new teaching methods regarding the change of the Curriculum in the High School. The study was conducted in the A? Class of the High School. It was conducted in 3 stages, in 3 different teaching styles, of ordering, of mutual teaching and of mutual teaching with observation. The study was realised with an initial, final and 2 intermediate questionnaires and the Observation with 4 observation forms. The results are expected to be used in the improvement and change of the National Curriculum in the subject of Physical Education.
