During the last two meetings of our school Cinema Club, the participating teachers and students met online the film director Mr. Apostolos Nikolaidis. Mr. Nikolaidis is in charge of the Cultural Organization ALMEIDA, which is approved by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs to carry out media education projects with secondary education schools.
Mr. Nikolaidis, after studying our students? script, analyzed it with them in the first meeting. In the second meeting he focused on the process of the film production.
These meetings involved an extremely creative process for our students as they had the chance to reflect on the creative script-writing process, to ask their questions and to systematically approach the preparation of their film shooting.
