Our Model High School students Kalogiannidou Elissavet (B? Class), Koulourioti Eleanna (A? Class), Maragkaki Antigoni (B? Class), Bethani Eleni (B? Class) and Nikaki Antigoni (A? Class) participated in the online student competition of Literature Interpretive Reading of Kiki Dimoula’s poetry, who is one of the most important female poets of our country. The competition was organized by the Private High School of Athens College and the Private High School of Psychiko College on 8/3/2021 (Α΄ Stage) and 9/3/2021 (Β΄ Stage – Finals).
In the A? Stage of the competition our students presented their selected poems in front of the Teacher-Consultants ? Judges of the schools participating in the competition.
In the B? Stage of the competition passed the ten students who achieved the highest score and presented their works in front of the judging committee, consisting of Mrs. Kiki Demertzi (Greek Language and Literature teacher, theatre critic and ex-educational consultant), Kora Karvouni (actress and acting coach) and Chrysa Spyropoulou (Greek Language and Literature teacher, author and Coordinator of Educational Work).
In the B? Stage of the competition, our students who were selected to participate among the 10 contestants of the Finals (from 76 students of 21 other schools of Attica that participated in A? Stage) were Kalogiannidou Elissavet (B? Class), who won the 3rd Prize, and Maragkaki Antigoni (B? Class), who won a distinction. Congratulations!
The other three participating students are also worth of our congratulations, i.e. Koulourioti Eleanna (A? Class), Bethani Eleni (B? Class) and Nikaki Antigoni (A? Class), because of their exceptional expressive interpretive readings!
The teachers in charge of the students? preparation also wish to congratulate our students, who offered an insight into the poetic meanings and interpreted them with success, special sensitivity and an aesthetic perspective!
