On Wednesday 17 February 2021 (2.30-4.00 p.m.) Evangeliki Model High School of Smyrna and the Reading Club (Teachers in charge E. Karimali and A. Tsachtsarli) organised an online speech about Censorship. The speech was made by Ms. Petsini Penelope, Doctor in Arts and Human Sciences and researcher in charge of the post-doctoral programme of the Department of Political Science and History in Panteion University. Ms. Petsini?s speech was entitled ?Censorship in Art and Cinema during the Greek dictatorship period 1967-1974?. The speech topic has to do with the wider discussion framework that is currently being developed in the Reading Club regarding the concepts of Ideology, Censorship and Rhetoric of Speech during the Greek dictatorship period through the study of multimodal texts.
