During the school year 2019-20, Nea Smyrni Cultural Centre organised the student competition “Asia Minor, Ave!” for students of the Greek primary and secondary education on scholastic and artistic subjects related to the Greeks of Asia Minor.
Among others, students were asked to search for a story or narration referring to Asia Minor. Then, working in groups on the level of school class or school teams and given their familiarization with technology, they were asked to digitalize and process the material evidence (photographs, objects, interviews etc.) and register, under the supervision of their teachers, their story in the form of a short history documentary (10?).
A three-member team of our school consisting of the students Zioga Vasiliki-Christina, Zora Georgia-Theodora from B? class and Panagaki Chionia from C? Class, under the supervision of their teachers Mr. Thodis Georgios and Mrs. Arnaouti Eirini created the short documentary ?Remembrance? («Μνημοσύνη»).
The documentary, which is uploaded here, won the 1st prize in the competition.
